Overview:
Introducing Tra Tech, a complimentary mobile application designed to revolutionize the way you learn translation technologies. This comprehensive platform features ten meticulously curated modules, encompassing machine translation, computer-aided translation, and the application of a diverse range of translation technology tools. Beyond the rich learning materials, Tra Tech offers exclusive access to a series of online seminars, workshops, and guest talks led by distinguished scholars. To foster a dynamic learning environment, we've incorporated interactive games and an online forum for stimulating discussions. With Tra Tech, you're not just learning translation technologies, you're experiencing them.
'Tra Tech' was created for a research project (Acquisition of translation technology skills through blended learning), which was funded by the Research Matching Grant Scheme (University Grants Committee, Hong Kong government). The video lectures were recorded by Dr Maggie Zheng, while the research project was led by Dr Venus Chan, who is the principal investigator.

This research project is supported by Memsource, which has donated a Team Edition license with 80 Project Manager accounts (i.e. 800 linguist accounts) to the School of Arts and Social Sciences of Hong Kong Metropolitan University. The total valuation of the donated licenses is USD 576,000 for three years (January 2020 - December 2022).
